B. V. M Udham Singh Nagar Chess grandmasters Daman Sharma & Ansh Anand (VIII) brought laurels to the school as they got selected for the State Level in the District Level Chess Championship. Determined chess masters of Under 14 age group (Boys) Daman Sharma, Ansh Anand, Bisman Singh, Ridham Jain, Hitesh Sharma (class VIII) exhibited their exceptional game skills by securing 2nd position (Silver Medal) in Ludhiana District Chess Championship held at Sri Guru Hargobind Public school, pakhowal road on 26th and 27th September organized by District Education Department. Young champions gave a tough competition to the 24 teams from different schools of Ludhiana.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the Winners and their Coach Mr. Baljit Singh Gill for their earnest efforts and wished them good luck for the State Championship.
